Hi! I’m Deena, a contemporary artist, illustrator, and video editor based in Cape Town, South Africa.
My work is a constant exploration of mood and emotion. A visual and visceral display of my passion of creating.
I approach the world through gentle eyes. I am an optimist at heart, feel deeply, express myself freely, dance sillily, mix patterns, embrace change, surround myself with colour, drink lots of iced tea, and say "yes" often.
While I've been known to experiment in a multiple of mediums, I am currently favouring emotional portraiture in oil paint, digital illustration on my i-pad and video editing .
I accept a limited number of commissions each season to ensure every piece gets the magic it deserves. Whether it’s an existing work or a brand-new vision, I’d love to hear from you.
